Plenty of Connecticut fans are expected to be at the Garden for this matchup. St. John’s coach Rick Pitino estimated they would have roughly 7,000. UConn has played at the Garden twice this year, against Illinois and Florida, winning both times.“I think it’s gonna feel like a road game,” coach Dan Hurley said. “It certainly did last year, and we’re preparing that way.” The St. John’s-Connecticut clash is the first Big East conference game in February between two teams with zero or one loss since Feb. 2, 2009.
