FILE - Insurrections loyal to President Donald Trump at the U.S. Capitol in Washington on Jan. 6, 2021. All eyes are on the Supreme Court in Donald Trump's federal 2020 election interference case. The conservative-majority Supreme Court's next moves could determine whether the former president stands trial in Washington ahead of the November election.

Officials with the United States Attorney's Office said the two men are being accused of assaulting, resisting, impeding and obstruction of law enforcement "during a civil disorder." Officials added that the brothers are also being charged with misdemeanors including knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building, disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building and disorderly conduct in a Capitol building.

Christopher is said to have lunged at another officer, with both men ignoring law enforcement commands to "get back." Documents added that Earl allegedly "swiped" at an officer's face and grabbed the officer's throat. Christopher reportedly pushed an officer and attempted to take the officer's baton.
