An unidentified actress accused Oh of inappropriately touching her on multiple occasions in August and September 2017, which included kissing her cheek and making sexually inappropriate comments. Oh was convicted of indecent assault and given an eight-month suspended sentence. Judge Jeong Yeon-ju also ordered him to attend 40 hours of classes on sexual violence. Oh publicly denies the accusations and said he plans to appeal., Oh was known as one of South Korea's most accomplished stage actors, appearing in more 200 plays since 1968, with several awards to his name. But, where he played a wily older contestant on the deadly game who conceals elements of his true identity from the other players, rocketed Oh to international fame.
