If you're after a friendly welcome... look no further
The Fylde International has been commended for offering a "genuine Blackpool welcome" to guests, scooping the AA Friendliest B&B of the Year Award. Mother and daughter duo Kate and Vicky Eastleigh have run the hotel for the past 18 years, transforming the former backpackers hostel into ultra modern four-star accommodation.
Simon Numphud, AA media Director, said of The Fylde International: "Over the years Kate and Vicky have refined and refined this delightful guest house. The interior is under constant renewal, always brightly decorated, squeaky clean and generous with mod-cons. Kate and Vicky were also praised for their "impressive" hosting and hospitality by addressing guests by name, providing a children's play area and helping guests navigate the local tourist scene. The pair have expressed their "shock" but added that they are "proud and humbled".
