The San Antonio Spurs will play two regular-season games against the Indiana Pacers in Paris next season.
Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs are officially headed to Paris next season. The NBA on Monday announced the Spurs and Indiana Pacers will play a pair of regular-season contests in the French capital on Thursday, Jan. 23 and Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025, as part of the league’s Paris Games. This will mark the first time the NBA has played two regular-season games in France in the same season.
Wembanyama, the presumptive 2024 Rookie of the Year, is also set to play for the French national team in the 2024 Summer Games held in Paris. “I’m looking forward to it very much,” Wembanyama said earlier this year amid reports of the NBA sending the Spurs to Paris next season. “Obviously, it’s going to be probably the game or the games that are going to be very important for me, because of course it’s me coming back from where I come from, especially might be in my city or around the city.
