Spurs upgrade Jakob Poeltl to probable for Mexico City game against Miami

Poeltl has missed the last seven games with a bone bruise in his right knee. His last game was on Nov. 26. Poeltl has been slowly making progress the last two weeks, a process that culminated in him practicing Friday morning in Mexico City. His return would be a major boost for the Spurs after he was sidelined averaging a near double-double with 12.8 points and 9.8 rebounds to go along with 3.5 assists and 1.0 blocks per game.The Spurs injury report released Friday afternoon also included good news about Zach Collins.
On the negative side of the report, guard Josh Richardson is out for personal reasons and guard/forward Romeo Langford is questionable after missing Wednesday’s outing with a left ankle sprain.
