The star rookie center missed the last two games with an ankle injury he suffered in last week's loss at Houston.
Star rookie center Victor Wembanyama is no longer on the Spurs' injury report, a strong indication he will be available when the team hosts the Golden State Warriors on Monday at the Frost Bank Center. Wembanyama has missed the last two games, a loss at Sacramento on Thursday and a win at Golden State on Saturday, with a right ankle sprain he suffered in a loss at Houston on Thursday. But his named had been removed from the injury report the Spurs released Sunday afternoon.
The Spurs also upgraded guard Devin Vassell to probable after he sat out Saturday's game with a bruised left hip. Backup forward Cedi Osman remains out a sprained left ankle. Saturday’s 126-113 victory over the Warriors was the Spurs’ first this season without Wembanyama. They were 0-7 previously. The Spurs return home for a back-to-back against the Warriors and Houston Rockets at the Frost Bank Center on Monday and Tuesday.
