Spurs defeated the Bucks, 111-93.PORTLAND, Ore. - Jakob Poeltl finished with a career-high 31 points and 14 rebounds for his team-high fifth double-double of the season, but it wasn’t enough as the Spurs fell 117-110 to the Trail Blazers on Tuesday night.
The Spurs entered the fourth period down, 93-89. They are 0-7 this season when trailing after three quarters. It was the Spurs’ second-straight loss after they fell 132-95 to Golden State on Monday in San Francisco. They are 6-9 after losing seven of their last eight.The Spurs trailed 62-56 at the break after leading by as many as 12 points in the first quarter. Both teams shot it well from distance in the first half, but the Blazers have benefited from 12 Spurs turnovers they've converted into 15 points.
The Spurs continue their five-game west coast trip with a game at Sacramento on Thursday before wrapping it up with two games in Los Angeles against the Clippers and the Lakers.
