A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Tuesday, as snow is expected to hit southern portions of the ABC 6 viewing area. -- More than 400 people filled a church in an Ohio town to support the Haitian refugee population here as their immigration status is set to change by the end of Tuesday.

Springfield is home to between 12,000 and 15,000 people from Haiti who arrived over the last decade to escape conflict and conditions in the Caribbean island country. Temporary Protected Status is expected to expire by midnight Tuesday. Neighbors here are hoping to avoid scenes similar to those in Minneapolis where immigration enforcement turned violent. More than 400 people showed up for a day of action and prayer in support of the refugees. Many others were turned away from the church after it filled to capacity. A small number of people stood outside with signs protesting ICE. Leaders for the Haitian community say those refugees are anxious, with many staying home from work and keeping their kids home from school. Speakers at the event called this a defining moment for the city and suggested that the Haitian’s story of escape from violence at home and creation of a successful like here is an American story. All speakers implored the Trump administration to reconsider ending TPS for Haitian refugees.Online rumors and chatter show people expect a surge of ICE agents, but so far there is no evidence of that happening. The search for a missing Indiana teenager has taken a tragic turn, and a suspect connected to the case is currently in custody.A 39-year-old man is in custody in Ohio and could be charged with murder after the body of a missing 17-year-old girl was found.Tyler Thomas is in custody in FrA Gahanna police officer has been stripped of her badge following an arrest for operating a vehicle under the influence.Today ended Columbus' third longest streak of consecutive days at or below 20.
