The reigning world champions take on the Wallabies on Saturday morning at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane. Kick-off is set for 06;30 meaning South Africans will need to set their alarms for this big encounter. After Saturday’s match, the Boks will make a trip to Perth for their second clash against the Wallabies on Saturday, 17 August at the Optus Stadium.is expected to name a very strong and experienced squad this week for Saturday’s clash.
The Springboks have a very poor record in Brisbane having lost 11 of their 12 matches against Australia. The Wallabies are ranked ninth but have won their three last matches following their disastrous 2023 World Cup.“Having a few extra days to acclimatise and familiarise ourselves with the conditions will be invaluable,” he said.
“We started the season well with three victories in our four matches to date , and although we would have loved to win the second Test against Ireland, we have a good base to build from going into the Rugby Championship. “Playing against the likes of Australia, New Zealand and Argentina will definitely be a different challenge to the teams we have faced so far this season, but we enjoy playing against these teams and we are really looking forward to the competition,” Stick said ahead of the Springboks’match.The match between the Springboks and Australia will kick off at 06:30 on Saturday in Brisbane
