The Springboks could reach a remarkable record against the All Blacks if they are able to secure a victory in Cape Town on Saturday.
The Springboks and the All Blacks will clash for the 108th time this weekend, with the Test in Cape Town on Saturday set to kick off at 17:00.
It would also be the first four-peat since rugby unity in South Africa in the early 1990s, while victory at the DHL Stadium would also see the Boks clinch the Freedom Cup for the first time since 2009. Assistant coach Daan Human was adamant that history was not the main motivational force for the team, but rather building on their encouraging start to the Rugby Championship so far, which has seen the Springboks top the table with 14 points after three wins in as many games.
