Springboks’ player Bongi Mbonambi has been accused by England’s Tom Curry of using a racial slur during the team’s Rugby World Cup semi-final in Paris on Saturday night.

On audio shared by South African attorney @ZacMoselane on X, Curry is heard asking: “Sir, Sir, if their hooker calls me a white c*** what do I do?” “We are aware of the allegation, which we take very seriously, and are reviewing the available evidence. We will engage with Bongi if anything is found to substantiate the claim.”
