The bulk of the rain was expected to arrive in the early morning hours before tapering off in the afternoon. The wet conditions are expected to clear out in time for the weekend.
L.A. and Orange counties will also see a high of 63 on Thursday, with temperatures remaining in the 60s until Sunday, when a high of 70 is expected. Beaches can expect rain with a high of 59 degrees on Thursday, with the wet conditions clearing out Friday morning. Temperatures will remain in the 60s through to next week.
