Us Weekly's 2026 spring movie preview highlights Zendaya and Robert Pattinson in 'The Drama' plus must see films like 'Devil Wears Prada 2' and more
Mother Nature may be luring you toward the outdoors with its warmer weather this spring, but Us Weekly has a lineup of must-see movies that will happily keep you inside and glued to the screen. March, April and May offer an array of different moviegoer options, kicking off with Zendaya and Robert Pattinson’s The Drama — a polarizing romance with a plot twist already stirring mixed emotions from early viewers.
“In my real life, what this movie has reminded me about love is: if you feel safe with someone, if you feel known by someone, and you feel seen by someone; then you feel like you can tell them everything,” Zendaya teased to Vogue about film earlier this month. “And because of that, you feel like you know them on every level. And that’s the hope, right? It’s to feel like you’re with someone that you can be your whole and true self with and they will love every part of that.” If The Drama isn’t for you, there’s always the long-awaited sequel The Devil Wears Prada 2 or the overseas escapist rom-com You, Me & Tuscany. Laugh out loud comedies Pizza Movie and The Breadwinner are also on the lineup, as is Lee Cronin’s The Mummy for the year-round horror fanatics.Why Go? An original stoner comedy — written and directed by SNL’s Brian McElhaney and Nick Kocher — about Stranger Things’ Gaten Matarazzo as a college student on a quest for pizza while tripping out of his mind is enough to sell Us. Jack Martin as the hilariously evil resident advisor out to destroy him is just the icing on the cake — or should we say topping on the pizza?Why Go? Rom-coms continue to make their big screen comeback with this escapist delight starring Halle Bailey and Bridgerton’s Rége-Jean Page. Set to the beautiful backdrop of Italy, the film feels like a mash-up of ‘90s classics Under the Tuscan Sun and While You Were Sleeping.Why Go? Writer-director Cronin’s twisted reimagining of the beloved films centers on the possession of a young girl by an ancient evil. No Brendan Fraser this time around, but the jump scares and heart-palpitating tension make up for his absence. We promise.Why Go? With the amount of controversy the movie has already stirred up — massive reshoots, Michael’s daughter Paris Jackson’s ongoing legal battle with her father’s estate over the project and Janet Jackson’s reported dissatisfaction with the final product to name a few — anticipation over the film only grows higher.Why Go? Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Stanley Tucci and Emily Blunt are back for the sequel to the 2006 hit about the over-the-top horrors and delights of the fashion industry. Gird your loins!Why Go? Billie Eilish in concert? Fun. Billie in IMAX 3D with James Cameron co-directing alongside the pop icon herself? Must be seen to be believed. “No one has shot a concert film at this scale before,” says Titanic legend Cameron. We believe him.Why Go? Grab the gals! Bring your dad or the historian in your friend group to this drama about the 72 hours before D-Day. Brendan Fraser, Andrew Scott and Chris Messina ensure there’s something for everyone.Why Go? Ryan Gosling — hot. Ryan Gosling in glasses and and a cardigan? Sizzling. Based on the Andy Weir novel of the same name, Gosling’s middle school science teacher turned astronaut Ryland Grace teams up with the world’s most adorable alien to save the universe.
