Can the Panthers cover the spread?
Each week, we at All Panthers will release an article on our thoughts on the spread and the over/under of Carolina Panther games. The star ratings next to the play describe the overall confidence in that particular play.5 Star - Should be a lock to happenIt hasn't been a great start to the season for Carolina, but there is no way I'm laying 4.5 points with an 0-3 team on the road, especially one that lost to Baker Mayfield.
Minnesota may win the game and they may even cover the spread, but I'm not comfortable backing them against what has been a fairly stout Panther defense. I'll take the Panthers plus the points.The Vikings defense hasn't played well through the first three weeks of the season and the Panthers found some answers in the passing game last week, albeit with veteran Andy Dalton under center.
