'Ghosts Are People Too' book launches on Kickstarter
With Halloween around the corner, there’s no better time to remember that it’s not easy being dead — a message underscored by, a new illustrated book from writer, illustrator and filmmaker Peter Ricq that launches its crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter today.
The 40-page book tells the story of Ethan Alby, a young ghost who also gets scared of things — including his feelings for a particular living girl who’s taken up residence in the house he haunts, even though she doesn’t knows he exists.“I wanted to capture the feel of an old illustrated book. A book that's old and wise,” Ricq toldabout the book.
