Arovia unveils the SplayMax, a portable display with a screen twice the size of its predecessor, opening up new possibilities for presentations and on-the-go use.
The upgraded SplayMax portable display boasts a screen twice the size of its predecessor, offering expanded applications for presentations and other uses. Building upon the success of the original Splay, launched at least a year ago, the SplayMax retains its compact foldable design and dual monitor-projector functionality. Like the Splay, it utilizes a patented nanomaterial screen initially developed for military applications and optimized for professionals on the go.
This foldable display, which can be compacted to the size of a book, comes equipped with a mini projector that connects to most laptops, tablets, and smartphones. Both models are designed for durability, adaptability, and user-friendliness, seamlessly performing in any setting. The original Splay features a 24.5-inch screen with a 1920x1080 native resolution, while the SplayMax effectively doubles this size to approximately 50 inches. Both models benefit from a 44Wh battery, providing up to four hours of operation. SplayMax addresses customer feedback by significantly increasing the screen size, ideal for presentations and portable TV use. While currently a prototype, Arovia promises the final version will match the Splay's brightness and 1080p resolution. The SplayMax has already attracted potential buyers, including government departments and organizations with visually impaired team members. Arovia plans to further develop the display technology, aiming to release a full-size TV with touchscreen capabilities in the future
