Lynnae, a 38-year-old in Brookline, Massachusetts, has used spironolactone to manage painful cystic acne for the past decade. "It made a marked difference within two months, and I've been free of widespread breakouts ever since," she says. "I almost always see a few zits come back if I don't go back to it."
