S. President Donald Trump’s decision.Sunday. “There was no imminent threat. There is no clear objective. I will NOT support a war of choice that puts American lives in harm’s way.”Reuters “Whether or not this guy’s evil, that’s a different issue, whether or not they were on the verge of making nuclear weapons, which has been offered by this administration over the weekend, the intelligence provided to the president disputes that, so I agree with her statement, there was no sense of imminence to their threat to the United States. This seems like a war of convenience,” Spike said on KIRO host Jake Skorheim said he couldn’t help but be moved by what he’s seeing from the people in Iran, as many rallied in support of the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. “The largest population of Iranian-Americans in the country is in Los Angeles. We have a bunch here in Seattle, too, who were out in the streets celebrating, saying, ‘This is a liberation day.’ It’s tough not to be moved by the emotions of that,” Jake said.Spike agreed with Jake, but he questioned what’s next for the Iranian people. He asked if the goal was to help Iran build a better government, then why doesn’t the U.S. support them further? “Why don’t you assist them in any way, shape, or form, in doing that with an international coalition, with support from the U.S. in its entirety, with those who appropriate war — Congress and the funds — why don’t you turn on their internet so they can communicate amongst themselves and organize and get together an ability to build your own government,” Spike said. “It seems like we just cut the head off the snake, and now the next head will pop up, and we don’t know what that’s going to be,” he continued. ‘This seems like a war of convenience’: Spike backs Sen.
