Along with Ohio, 24 other states have Spider-Man as their No. 1 pick, including nearby states Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky.
The second-most popular superhero was Batman, winning 10 states. This was followed by Superman, which won four states.
Other Marvel and DC superheroes that popped up less frequently on the map included Captain Marvel, which is a favorite in Rhode Island and Delaware and Black Panther in Oregon. In addition to Spider-Man, the other top superheroes in Ohio included Batman, Iron Man, Captain America and Aquaman.due to a re-release with 11 minutes of extra footage.
