Reviews are finally out for Marvel's Spider-Man 2, and the game's Metacritic review score means Marvel still hasn't toppled DC.
There have been lots of incredible superhero video games in recent years from Guardians of the Galaxy to Batman to Marvel’s most famous mascot. The Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Metacritic review score confirms that it is another spectacular outing, but the friendly neighborhood webhead still hasn’t managed to dethrone DC’s Dark Knight as the highest-rated superhero video game of all time. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is an incredible adventure launching exclusively on the PS5 come October 20th.
We all expected the sequel to be amazing anyway because of how great the first game was, as well as because Insomanic has an incredible portfolio that consists of beloved experiences like Ratchet and Clank. In our own Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 review, we have given the game a spectacular 10/10. Reviewer Amaar Chowdhury praises it as a triumphant sequel carried by ‘electrifying game-play and a plot compelled by dark consequences’.
