Spencer Dinwiddie had his third straight double-double Tuesday night, with 16 points, 11 assists and six rebounds in the Nets’ 121-107 loss.
He attacked the rim as usual, but coach Jacque Vaughn said his point guard wasn’t rewarded for his work.
“I thought he was aggressive at getting to the rim: I’m surprised that only six free throw attempts with the amount of times that he drove to the rim,” Vaughn said. Nerlens Noel’s 10-day contract with the Nets expires Wednesday, and as of Tuesday night, the veteran center said he hadn’t heard from management about signing a second one.
