The Spellbound trailer has dropped for Netlfix's upcoming animated musical, which features a star-studded voice cast led by Rachel Zegler.
“The film follows the adventures of Ellian, the tenacious young daughter of the rulers of Lumbria who must go on a daring quest to save her family and kingdom after a mysterious spell transforms her parents into monsters,” reads the official synopsis.The video highlights Princess Ellian’s journey to saving her parents from permanently becoming monsters. It also teases the challenges she must face in order to break the curse.
Spellbound is an animated musical directed by Vicky Jenson from a script co-written by Mulan‘s Lauren Hynek and Elizabeth Martin, along with Linda Woolverton . It includes music from Academy Award-winning composer Alan Menken, which reunites him with long-time collaborators and fellow Grammy-winners, lyricist Glenn Slater and former Walt Disney Music President Chris Montan, who all worked together on The Little Mermaid and Tangled.
