We also heard – we are not sure how reliable this is though – that US Pres. Biden has also asked PBBM to make a journey to the US Mainland sometime next year.Wow, if these developments do happen, we can just imagine what could take place as government leaders do not just make state visits for the sake of pleasing the host by accepting the latter’s invitation.
I strongly believe that the Chinese leader, now on his third term, will take the golden opportunity to convince PBBM to agree to bilateral talks with the end in view of forging a pact that will mutually benefit both countries. The truth is that the Philippines has long been scouting for a steady trading partner and a market for its products and raw materials to export to.
I reckon the economic advisers the President listens to have already seen the great potential of the projected China state visit.
