Hazel Nairn was swept into the River Don last year amid fierce weather conditions and her body has never been recovered.
An expert diving team using sonar equipment are set to continue the search for Scots gran Hazel Nairn this weekend, ten months after she vanished.
Now, an elite voluntary underwater search group , Beneath the Surface who are based in Lancashire, have decided to try to help the family find some closure by organising a search party for this weekend. Beneath the Surface will be joined by Aberdeen Diving Services Ltd, Aberdeen Sub Aqua Club BSAC 67 and local experienced kayakers.
