Johor Baru Mayor Datuk Mohd Noorazam Osman said that currently, bicycle and electric scooter users are using an area near a pedestrian bridge that links BSI and R&F Mall.
“The bridge is not a suitable place to park bicycles and electric scooters as there are pedestrians who use the link to travel to and from BSI,” he said when met after chairing the MBJB full council meeting yesterday. “We have identified a suitable place within BSI, which is near the bus area, for people to park their bicycles and electric scooters before continuing their journey to Singapore.
Mohd Noorazam also said to ease doing business within the city council’s jurisdiction, MBJB has made improvements to its business and advertising licence renewal process.
