Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe, head football coach Kalen DeBoer and basketball head coach Nate Oats attended the event for the first time Saturday.

Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe got into the fish-flinging frenzy by tossing the mullet 94 feet. He was joined by new Crimson Tide head football coach Kalen DeBoer and basketball head coach Nate Oats. It was the first time the three attended the annual event.“I think we’re on our way, you know, doing what we want to do and what we need to do here at Alabama and that’s to win a lot of football games,” DeBoer said.

Milroe said, “I think what you can expect is a great football team that’s ready, that’s hungry, that’s looking to compete no matter what the opponent that we’re gonna play. We’re all motivated. We’re all on the same mission. So, we’re all excited. “You know, we’re gonna take it one game at a time, go 1 and 0 each and every day that we approached the field. So, I’m super excited because we have a hungry locker room,” Milroe said.
