Opinion: Speaking of Scotland: No worries!
I really only have one … problem with my favorite country in the world, present company excepted — Scotland — where I was enormously fortunate to have spent a couple of happy weeks this summer.
And the people are the best part of all, Scotland-wise: genial, cultured, funny. I’ll be coming back to Caledonia, summer after summer, to hear their stories. That’s why we say “de nada,” or “por nada” — because even if it is a bit of a hassle, this service work, we want to pretend at least that the service rendered is as nothing. That’s called polite.
