Former Seattle Storm president and CEO will also serve as the Sparks’ chief administrative officer; Eli Horowitz promoted to assistant general manager
LOS ANGELES — With the 2023 WNBA free agency period set to begin Jan. 11, the Sparks began rounding out the team’s front office Monday by naming Karen Bryant as the team’s new chief administrative officer and general manager, according to Eric Holoman, the team’s owner and managing partner.
Holoman said Bryant is a talented and veteran sports executive with a track record of building successful organizations. said Bryant in a news release: “I’m honored to take on the responsibility of Chief Administrative Officer & General Manager. I’m really excited to partner with Curt, Vanessa and the rest of our team to usher in a new era of Sparks Basketball. We are committed to building a culture and organization that is representative of the incredible legacy this franchise carries.
