SpaceX targets Starship’s 1st orbital refueling test in March 2025

Elon Musk’s SpaceX may attempt an orbital refueling test using two Starships in March 2025.

If all goes out as planned, this successful in-orbit refueling would demonstrate Starship’s capability to undertake long-duration missions to the Moon and eventually Mars. The Human Landing System Starship is a lunar lander variant of SpaceX’s Starship spacecraft designed to transport astronauts from lunar orbit to the Moon’s surface and back.NASA granted SpaceX a $4.05 billion contract for the development of two human-rated Starship vehicles for landing astronauts on the lunar surface.
