Update: SpaceX scrubs today's scheduled Falcon 9 rocket launch from the California coast.
The Falcon 9 rocket was scheduled to lift off at 6:40 a.m. California time from Vandenberg Space Force Base northwest of Santa Barbara. The countdown stopped at 16 seconds before mission control said the launch was scrubbed for a second day.into low-Earth orbit.
