WATCH LIVE launch at 11:47 a.m.: SpaceX launches resupply mission to space station
– SpaceX launched the CRS-SpX28 mission Monday, sending a Cargo Dragon 2 capsule laden with supplies to the International Space Station from Kennedy Space Center.
It was the third launch attempt for SpaceX, which was delayed on Sunday because of high winds in the booster recovery area. It was originally scheduled for Saturday. The Falcon 9 launch is SpaceX’s 28th commercial resupply mission. The Dragon cargo capsule is carrying 2 solar array blankets, 2,420 lbs. of supplies for the crew, 1,082 lbs. of vehicle hardware and 586 lbs. of science gear.
