Diepkloof residents have been without power for a while.

700 homes in the Diepkloof area were disconnected over non-payment and illegal connections.

Lawyers for Black People's Zuko Mdakane says if Eskom does not reconnect power in the area within five hours of the ultimatum issued, then they will meet in court on Tuesday. Soweto residents are now taking the legal route to force Eskom to reconnect their electricity. Diepkoof residents have been without power for a while.
