A Southwest Airlines pilot was arrested in Savannah, Georgia for intoxication moments before a Wednesday morning flight to Chicago, airport police told ABC News. Booking records obtained by ABC News showed the pilot, David Allsop, 52, of New Hampshire, was arrested by Savannah/ Hilton Head International Airport police shortly before a flight to Chicago. Allsop's arrest delayed Flight 3772 from 6:05 a.m. to 10:56 a.m. while the airline worked to find a new pilot.
Allsop was 'removed from duty' after the incident, per a statement from Southwest Airlines.We're aware of a situation involving an Employee on Flight 3772 this morning from Savannah.
