The change impacts 20 cities during peak travel season, including Chicago, Denver, St. Louis and Phoenix.
Travelers will see more flight options from March 9 to April 10.
Among the highlights: More weekend flights to Cancun and the return of nonstop flights to Fort Lauderdale, Fla. on Saturday."We're thrilled Southwest continues to increase and restore flights to and from its original hometown," said Jesus H. Saenz, Director of Airports for the city of San Antonio."These increases provide more opportunities to see our beautiful city in addition to other top destinations.
Southwest Airlines, which originally flew between three airports, including San Antonio, is now headquartered in Dallas.
