Southwest Airlines is adding a direct flight from San Antonio to Burbank, California.
The San Antonio International Airport announced Thursday that nonstop flights to Hollywood Burbank Airport will start on June 4.“This is fantastic news for San Antonio,” Jesus Saenz, director of airports for the San Antonio Airport System, said in a news release. “We have more options than ever before to take trips to fun and attractive locations – such as the Los Angeles region.
The airport added that Southwest will increase service from San Antonio to Baltimore, Orlando and Phoenix. Daily service to Cancun and weekend service to Albuquerque will return next summer.
