According to the folks at Southern_Living, two Alabama cities are among the best vacation destinations if you’re bringing grandchildren along. Alabama fares pretty well, considering the list is only includes 16 destinations.
Or that even though Orange Beach is listed, it’s sort of lumped in with Gulf Shores.
The list includes Huntsville as well, particularly “if you have an aspiring astronaut or [grand]kids who love science.” But there’s more to see than just the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, the site says: There’s EarlyWorks Children’s Museum, the Alabama Constitution Village, and the Huntsville Museum of Art, for more “educational and exciting experiences.” Little Rosie’s Taqueria also comes highly recommended.
Alabama fares pretty well, considering the list includes major destinations such as Atlanta; Branson, Mo.; Nashville and Pigeon Forge, Tenn.; Washington, D.C.; and Orlando.
