Southampton confirm they have sacked manager Nathan Jones after just 14 games in charge of the team following defeat to Wolves on Saturday.
Jones managed four other victories but they all came in cup competitions, notably beating Manchester City 2-0 in the Carabao Cup, with his last victory coming over Blackpool in the FA Cup at the end of last month.
