SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO – An investigation is underway into an armed bank robbery in South San Francisco, police said.
The robbery was reported around 9:45 a.m. Monday at a bank in the 100 block of McLellan Drive, the South San Francisco Police Department said in a statement Tuesday. Police said the suspect pointed a black semiautomatic handgun at a bank teller and demanded cash. After receiving an undisclosed sum, he left the bank and was last seen walking eastbound on McLellan Drive.
The suspect was described as a white man in his 50s with a white beard. He was last seen wearing a black hat, eyeglasses, a black sweater and khaki pants, police said.Related Articles
