Seattle Public Utilities is offering sandbags to residents, and in case of more flooding, they have six big pumps at the ready and staff on standby. SPU had a crew of three placing sandbags around the neighborhood on Thursday.A neighbor named Salvadore put up a barrier of dirt, sandbags, and other items to protect his home. His basement had at least 10 inches of water from the flood in Dec. 2022, leading to extensive water damage and mold.
