Nipsey Hussle was shot multiple times on March 31 in the parking lot of his own Marathon Clothing store.

Four people were shot, one fatally, in a South Los Angeles neighborhood on Thursday, shortly after a funeral procession for slain rapper Nipsey Hussle had passed through the area.

The victims—three men and a woman—were all taken to hospital where one succumbed to their injuries. Currently, it is not clear how serious the injuries to the other wounded individuals are, CBSLA reported. Earlier, tens of thousands of people involved in the procession had lined the streets close to the scene of the shooting, however, there are currently no indications that the two events are connected in any way. Furthermore, there have been no reports of violence from the procession itself.

Moore and other prominent members of the LA community have linked Hussle’s death to a recent spike in killings in South Los Angeles.
