A South Florida grandmother is facing serious charges after her 11-month-old grandson died from an overdose while in her care, the sheriff's office said.
According to the Broward Sheriff's Office detectives arrested 53-year-old Tibina Louissant on October 13 for aggravated manslaughter of a child.
First responders took transported the victim 11-month-old to Broward Health Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
