South Euclid-Lyndhurst
Schools Superintendent Linda N. Reid cut the ribbon April 17 at Sunview Elementary School, 5520 Meadow Wood Blvd. in Lyndhurst , to officially open the school's new playground. Inclement weather forced an indoor ribbon cutting. Reid is surrounded by SE-L School Board members, staff, students and Lyndhurst elected officials. This was one of three elementary school playgrounds opened that day.
Each program began with opening remarks by the building principals -- Ken Lasky, of Adrian Elementary; Lee Fuller, of Rowland Elementary; and Arika Taylor, of Sunview Elementary. The programs also featured special remarks by Superintendent Linda N. Reid, during which she shared that the construction of the new playgrounds reflected the dedication of the District’s leadership team and Board of Education to the strategic planning process and overall mission to make the SE-L Schools “‘The Destination School Community’ both now and into the future.”
