An extra five minutes was required to determine a victor between the No. 1 South Carolina Gamecocks and No. 2 Stanford Cardinal on Sunday. Aaliyah Boston tied the game with 2.1 seconds left and the Gamecocks surged in overtime for a 76-71 road victory. South Carolina trailed by 10 after the first quarter but outscored the Cardinal by 10 in the fourth.
Bree Hall had a career-high 12 points, including a late three-pointer in overtime, off the bench for the Gamecocks. Stanford's Cameron Brink led all scorers with 25 points and added four blocks on the defensive end.South Carolina trailed by four points with less than 20 seconds remaining when Brea Hall made it a one-point game with a three with 14.9 seconds left. A foul and a missed free throw later, Boston took advantage of her opportunity to tie the game.
