An Adelaide florist said he is losing thousands in profits after he was locked out of his business’s Facebook account following a hack, ahead of a bumper Mother’s Day weekend. Itty Bitty Bunch co-owner, Simon Molloy said his business’s Facebook page with more than 14,000 followers was hacked on Wednesday, April 17. He said cybercriminals charged his credit card linked to his Facebook page almost $4500 for advertising that was posted to another Instagram account.

“We’re calling for codified, dependable and easy to use internal dispute resolution processes to be adopted by these digital platforms that can get problems resolved quickly and supported by a promoted external dispute resolution service, such as ASBFEO, for small businesses that can’t gain a satisfactory outcome when working directly with the platforms,” Billson said. Meta declined 7NEWS.com.au’s request for comment.
