Micah Woods spent 2023 season at Buffalo
Wide receiver Micah Woods, shown here playing for Pinson Valley in the 2020 Class 6A state championship game in Tuscaloosa, is transferring to South Alabama. Woods spent the 2023 season at Buffalo, and previously played at Hutchinson Community College in Kansas. South Alabama picked up a transfer portal commitment Sunday from wide receiver Micah Woods, a former Pinson Valley High School star who spent last season at Buffalo.
Woods joins a South Alabama wide receiver group that returns seniors Devin Voisin, Jamaal Pritchett, Javon Ivory, Jeremiah Webb and Shamar Sandgren in 2024. The Jaguars also bring back redshirt freshman Anthony Eager and Chowan transfer Noah Toster this fall.. The Jaguars are expected to add a few more transfers before summer semester classes begin on May 29.
