) - The doors are officially open at South Alabama Family Care in Grand Bay. It’s an expansion of their primary clinic just a few doors down.“It’s been a labor of love for about five years now. So, to actually see it and see it in reality is such a blessing. This community needs it. We’ve loved this community for a very long time. They know Mr. Stokes and the people affiliated with the facility. So this is awesome,” Practice Administrator Cherri Bedwell said.
“We get people from Mississippi who are getting to Grand Bay. We’ve got people from Bayou La Batre, Irvington. So it’s pretty convenient for the people who just have urgent care needs rather than going to Mobile,” Nurse Practitioner Parath Knight said.“Just come in. We’re going to take care of you from the minute you head in the door, till the minute you leave. You’re going to be taken care of,” Bedwell said.
