South Africans took to social media on Sunday, 21 April to pay tribute to comedian and DJ Peter 'Mashata' Mabuse.
Celebrities and fans of Peter “Mashata” Mabuse took to social media to pay tribute after police confirmed he was murdered in the early hours of Sunday.Mashata, who was a Mamelodi Sundowns supporter was traveling near Soshanguve TUT campus when the vehicle he was travelling in got shot.@PaulMtirara wrote: “This can’t be! This is not what I could have ever imagined… why! how could this have ever happened this great individual! RIPSIR #mashata.
He also pleaded for a massive event for Peter and that the money made from the event should be donated to his family. I’m gonna plead with all Soul and R&B DJs to please do a massive event for Peter.. we all play for free and donate every cent earned to his family..Gauteng police spokesperson Col Noxolo Kweza says: “The shooting involved two men aged 46 and 45 years during the early hours of today . One victim died in hospital while the other was injured.”
“The two victims were driving near TUT in Soshanguve when shots were fired at their vehicle. The suspects fled and police are following several leads.”We layed Dj Sumbody to rest because he was gunned down.
