Seeff Property Group highlights an emerging development hotspot.
The Southern Coast of KwaZulu Natal has become a new property hotspot with developments popping up frequently, says Seeff Property Group.
“Most towns have basic infrastructure and are not too far from a bigger centre. They are also mostly within under an hour to just over two hour’s drive from the Durban Metropolitan.” Despite being a long-standing holiday destination, post-pandemic, many have wanted to relocate to the area on a permanent or semi-permanent basis, said the agent.
Prices in the area are said to still be very accessible compared to other coastal areas, and there are a handful of multi-million-rand developments underway.Eco-estates similar to those in major metros are a large part of new developments – including the Serenity Hills Eco Estate in Margate, which is well underway and offers residency suitable for all ages.
