The Texans retained offensive coordinator Nick Caley after his first season calling plays. The Texans are not expected to make major changes to the coaching staff. They are in discussions with other coaches as potential outside hires, per NFL sources. Texans quarterbacks coach Jerrod Johnson is a candidate for offensive coordinator with the Philadelphia Eagles, per sources. If Johnson was to land an outside job, an in-house candidate for his position that would be considered is senior offensive assistant Jerry Schlupinski.Texans tight end Dalton Schultz caught a career-high 82 passes last season.Moreland previously coached the Denver Broncos’ tight ends and was an assistant offensive line coach with the New York Jets. Bolling, working with linebackers coach Bill Davis, was with the Texans for the past five seasons. He was promoted to assistant linebackers coach last year.
